Salsa Verde

Salsa Verde literally means “green sauce”. It goes great with fish, chicken or any meat, as it is packed with various herbs and mustard, so it improves just about anything it touches. Maybe try adding it to your next Mexican dish!

Ingredients

1 bunch fresh basil

1 large handful of fresh mint and parsley

2 cloves of garlic

1 Tbsp Dijon mustard

2 Tbsp capers

5 Tbsp olive oil

1 tsp sea salt or season to taste

 

Method

    1. Add all ingredients to a high speed blender and blend until a smooth paste.
