This is a great smoothie to try, when there are nasty viruses around, as it is full of immune boosting ingredients to help keep you healthy.
1/2 cup Raspberries or Blackberries fresh or frozen
1/3 cup Kefir (Milk or Coconut Water based)
OR 1/3 cup plant milk like Almond Milk
2 teaspoons Hemp Seeds
1/2 cup of Spinach or Kale
1 teaspoon Ground Flaxseeds
1 Tablespoon Whey or plant based Protein Powder
1/2 teaspoon Cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon Fresh Ginger (or 1/4 tspn chopped ginger)
Place in a blender and process until smooth.
* For a sweeter version add 1/2 banana or a healthy sweetener like stevia, xylitol or monk fruit sweetener.
